Included in your membership dues are benefits that you receive at no additional charge:
ARMY Magazine. The association's professional journal is published monthly and provides articles on current Army operations and training, future operational and modernization concepts, military history and a variety of perspectives submitted by Army leaders, past and present. The October issue, The Army Green Book, is an almanac of articles from top leaders and reference information on Army commands, locations, posts, armories and reserve centers, weapons and equipment. This much-sought-after edition should be on every Army professional's bookshelf.
AUSA News. The association's monthly newspaper provides a combination of news and other relevant Army topics. It also includes reports from Government Affairs, The Institute of Land Warfare (the educational arm of AUSA), Industry Affairs and chapter supported activities.
Membership In One of AUSA's 139 Chapters. Located worldwide, chapters provide the opportunity to participate in activities with other Army professionals. Members of the Fairfax-Lee chapter receive the quarterly Base Camp Briefs, the award-winning newspaper published for the George Washington and Fairfax-Lee chapters. This publication provides information on upcoming luncheon events, discussion of national and local issues of interest to today's soldier and his/her families, and feature articles from professional and soldier writers. Both chapters provide the opportunity for soldiers and industry members to attend the quarterly membership luncheons, which feature prominent Army speakers.
