Jason Rodriguez, Chairman, 2010 AUSA Fairfax-Lee Annual Golf Tournament

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to welcome you to the 2010 AUSA Fairfax-Lee Chapter’s largest Annual Fundraiser. Our goal is to ensure that you and your guests enjoy playing a fun & competitive round of golf, while experiencing the camaraderie and fellowship that takes place by providing your dollars in support of our warriors, be they uniformed or civilian. In the future, as in the past, your funds go to support events on Fort Belvoir and across the National Capital Region. Perhaps you’ve seen construction of the new state of the art Dewitt Hospital, or the high rises on the old EPG? These are signs of growth of military and civilian personnel on Fort Belvoir. Please know that the Fairfax-Lee Chapter of AUSA will welcome these soldiers and civilians, but we need your support to help make that happen. So please, open your hearts and your wallets to help us help others.

2010 AUSA Fairfax-Lee Golf Tournament

Friday, 14 May 2010. Shotgun start at 1100.

Fort Belvoir Golf Club

DETAILS: Four-Person Scramble, Captain’s Choice, no handicap restrictions. Amateurs only. Compose your own team or we will team you. The event will be played as one tournament on both of the Club’s courses (Woodlawn & Gunston). Play will be limited to the first 50 teams. Place and skill prizes will be awarded the top finishers.  Lunch will be provided prior to the shotgun start.  Dinner following play will be at the Clubhouse, indoor & patio seating will be available.All players must sign in. Directions to the course & instructions for vehicles without a DoD decal.

COST: $800 per foursome, which includes green fees, carts, range balls, lunch, beverages and dinner. Company checks are accepted, but online registration is preferred.   Please register online here.  Mail Company checks to address below.  Rental clubs are available but must be reserved by indicating on the registration form. Soft spikes and collared shirts only, no blue jeans.

The tournament will be held on two courses (Gunston & Woodlawn).  You will be notified as to which course you will play.

Lunch will be distributed at registration at 1100. Beverage carts will be on both courses throughout the tournament with beverages and snacks. The Dinner, raffle drawings and awards will follow play. We should conclude the day’s activities by 1800.

SPONSORSHIPS: All Sponsorships include appropriate recognition with net proceeds benefiting Soldiers and Soldier families. We are a nonprofit Association with Federal Tax ID, 53-0193361. IRS Form 9 is available.
